This is the paraffin wax that my mother used to seal jelly and jam jars. It can also be used to make candles or can be put in the paraffin bath. But it’s a FRACTION of the cost of “candle” wax or the perfumed wax used in the wax baths. Unless you are using beeswax, I believe all these waxes are the same paraffin wax I bought for .50 a pound rather than . (I actually used it to cast a sculpture.) It’s pure enough to use with food and it’s tough and inexpensive enough to use for candlemaking or sculptures. It’s a great buy.

Use for skate wax.,

Although this is a cooking wax I have found it to be very good skate wax. Whether you skateboard or rollerblade this wax will have you sliding very fast. Be careful don’t overuse it. |

I put this in the microwave (do not exceed two minutes) every night, and take it to bed with me. It keeps me warm and helps my tight neck muscles relax. I had a buckwheat pillow before. The buckwheat is quite a bit lighter weight, but it doesn’t retain heat as well. This flax seed pillow also allows the stuffing to shift around quite a lot so it can go flat in the back of your neck and heavy at the ends of the “u” shape when you’re sitting up. So if you want light weight, get the buckwheat. If you want good lasting heat, get this.

As a massage therapist I see people everyday with tight, sore Trap muscles(back of neck/shoulder), either from working the muscles or from carrying stress. Heat this item and sit with it on your shoulders, shifting more of the weight of the item towards TOP/BACK of shoulders. If it feels too heavy then most of the weight is probably in the wrong place.
