A must-have for me!, February 18, 2010

I have owned this body wrap for 3 yrs. I use it several times a day for my fibromyalgia, neck pain (after auto accident) & even for my cold feet! You can use it anywhere on your body. The scent is mild. I zap it in the microwave for 1 min. 38 sec. Even though it cools down gradually, there is still some some residual heat left for my feet even after an hour. In the evening I warm it up and start at my neck, then move it around to other parts of my body. It just makes me feel good and relaxes me before bed. I also use it to relax my muscles before doing exercises to a certain difficult painful spot. I take it with me wherever I visit as I can’t live without it now.

Very effectivearomatherapy wrap, February 7, 2010

This is a life saver for my husband. He has had a stroke and gets very painful spasms and cramps in

his weak leg. I pop the body wrap in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and lay it down his leg. It is

without a doubt the best relief we have been able to find for him. The lavender aroma is also very soothing.

Addicting !!, November 27, 2009

This is one of my favorite things in life! I use it for aches and pains everywhere as well as a relaxing heat source on chilly nights. The smell is instantly comforting and the heat is wonderful. It also makes a wonderful gift; everyone seems to like it!! I highly recommend it.

S’wonderful, but wishing it was a ………, August 17, 2009

true hardmilled soap. The ingredients ( patchouli oil is of a very high standard) are definitely top shelf;lots of lather, but alas the bar fades into the mystic all too quickly. I love the soap, but there are other small companies out there making soaps of comparable quality that are hardmilled and last 3-4 times as long……………Peace.:-)

Great Soap!, April 23, 2010

Wonderful way to start the day. Smells just lovely. If you love patchouli, you’ll love this soap. Make the smell last longer by just cutting bar in half (STILL bigger than little sample bars so I have no problem with the size) and use half and put other half in a baggie for later. Will keep the scent and your soap will last a lot longer.

Wonderful Soap, April 20, 2009

I bought several bars of different kinds from this company. I love the patchouli and am ordering several more bars today. People stop me in stores and tell me I smell good! I also have the patchouli foaming hand soap, and everyone who comes to my house wants to wash their hands in it. I use the soap for shampoo, since I have very soft water, and it works great! I highly recommend this product!

This product is a wonderful face and body mist. I have acne prone skin, so I have to be careful what products I use on my face. This product is wonderful! It smells great, and is very light and refreshing. I use it as a finishing spray, after I have applied my mineral make-up, and I use it any time I need a refreshing mist. I highly recommend this product for any one wanting a soothing, face and body spray.

This mist is great for sensitive skin and is very refreshing. The aroma does not remain long so if you are looking for a long term scent try a necklace diffuser that uses essential oils.

Second only to the Volcano, November 14, 2010

I’ve owned several vaporizers over the years, including the original Volcano. The most obvious difference between the two is the price, but there’s also a difference in the way you use it (well, the way i use it).

Bags

The Volcano is a bag system, and even though this has a bag system, this is definitely the weak part of the Arizer. The Volcano bag system has an autoseal mouth, so when you’re not inhaling from the bag, it seals automatically. I use to fill a bag up, and sit down with it and smoke it over a 10-15min period. With the Arizer, this is less enjoyable because the smoke escapes the bag when not in use (or when you’re not sealing the tip with your finger).

Filling the bag with the Arizer is more troublesome as well. With the Volcano, you sit the bowl in the Volcano, let it run for 5 secs or so so that the herb warms up and starts releasing the vapor, then connect the bag in so you get more smoke and less air. Unfortunately with the Arizer, you attach the bag to the bowl, and then put it into the vaporizer, and then turn it on. This can be a problem because it can take 10sec or more for the vapors to be released, and in that time your bag is filling up with nothing but air.

Bowl

The problem comes down to the bowl, the little thing where you put the herb in. With the Volcano, the bowl is a hard piece of plastic and metal, and with a large enough diameter that whatever you put in there, won’t stick together when heated and then cooled. The bowl also attaches the bag to it much easier and is just a far better bag experience than the Arizer.

The Arizer bowl is tall and narrow, like a tube. This means that when you put your herbs and and heat it, then when it cools, all the herb in there stick together, so that you have to use the glass stir rod they provide to stir it between each use. This wouldn’t be so much of a problem if the glass bowl/tube didn’t get so darn hot. Not only that, but the mesh that goes into the bowl is very loose, so half the time when i stir it, the mesh tips and all the herbs dump through to the other side.

As a baggy system, the Arizer is a failure (at least compared to the Volcano).

The Whip

Where the Arizer shines, and is why i prefer using the Arizer over the Volcano, is in the plastic hose/whip that comes with it. This whip attaches to the bowl, and what i do, is just turn on the Arizer for about 5-10sec, or when visible smoke starts coming out of it, then i inhale out of it like a hookah. I don’t have to waste bags (because eventually the bags get so stank with smoke and other junk that inhaling it is disgusting), and it’s just more convenient for me to turn it on, inhale out of it, then turn it off.

However awesome this method is, it’s still far from perfect due to the bowl, because like mentioned earlier, you have to stir the content nearly after every use, and it’s infuriating how careful i am in stiring it, that i still often tip the mesh and herb fall through and get ruined (and if it falls into the Arizer, i can’t imagine it would be good for the device).

If they could somehow create a Volcano type bowl for the Arizer, one that can still use the whip, this would be the perfect device. The glass and stainless steel gives the Arizer an almost medical look to it (which is great!).

So for me, the Arizer is better than the Volcano. Mostly because i am cheap, and because i like the whip. But as for recommendations for others, i’ve always recommended the Volcano. It’s just a far simpler device, and for people with medical conditions or who i know will get frustrated with the Arizer’s bowl system, the Volcano is what i recommend.

Another thing they could do is add more whips to the Arizer, because it’s disgusting sharing the whip with others.

Good Value, April 4, 2009

I bought this directly from Arizer from their website for the same price. The Volcano is supposed to be the best (I’ve never used it) but I can’t imagine it’s better than this, and certainly not twice as good although the Volcano costs twice as much and even more for the digital version. Extreme Vaporizer from Arizer customer service is the best. They answered my emails immediately, even when I sent then at night and they were as helpful as possible.

One warning: The extreme uses the strongest top quality glass available so the vapor never comes in contact with plastic, teflon, wood, aluminum or other metals which can give off harmful toxins or bad taste. The glass keeps the vapor tasty but be careful because even the strongest glass can break and glass is not covered by the warranty. I knocked mine off a table and broke the glass heater cover. It is possible to return the whole unit for repair at a cost of (which covers the repair and return shipping) or you can purchse the glass heater cover for and repair it yourself (which I did but it wasn’t easy). All the other glass parts are external and easily replaced.

If you are careful with the glass, you won’t find a better value

Great Unit, four minor problems, VERY MINOR

1. Bottom portion, of the main bowl, way too hot to handle. New handler may get hurt.

2. The 90 degree glass elbow, inserted into the top of the main bowl, has a small metal screen which clogs up. Frequent deep cleaning a must for best results. Easy to clean w/Rubbing alcohol

3. Unit needs a heavier base( being real picky)

4. So many options require several parts. You won’t mind but safe storage is a must for all the glass parts.

You will not get bored with this unit. So many choices and all work

to perfection. Remote is a must, don’t lose it, it’s that good.

Unit is ready for use in a matter of a few minutes(2).

Love as perfume, April 1, 2010

I wear this oil as my own personal perfume and have found many people have loved it. I’ve had people ask me to buy some for them as well! The patchouli in this blend is distinctive but not overpowering. I love it!

An all around great blend, November 12, 2009

This synergy has become my favorite. While I cannot attest to its aphrodisiac qualities, it certainly is lovely when diffused. The jasmine and sandalwood notes are intoxicating. I plan to use this blend in gifts I am preparing for Christmas. I used this product after the birth of my first daughter (level 4 episiotomy) and it really helped me feel better and gave me the chance to heal more quickly. I have ordered it this time to have before I give birth to my 2nd and anticipate that it will help with other “personal area” problems as there is a lot of product in this 6 oz. size.

Better off geting the concentrate version of this, January 22, 2012

I bought this after having perineal surgery and needing sitz baths for weeks. I wanted an alternative to Domeboro. I liked that Motherlove’s products are all natural and antiseptic. I thought this would be like Domeboro in that it would be something that would just dissolve in the water. Nope. It’s like a tea: it’s a bunch of leaves and dried herby items that need to steep in the water. It is time consuming and a giant mess.

Motherlove makes a concentrated version of this (as well as a spray bottle version when you’re on the go!) that is a MUCH better alternative. It’s not sold here on Amazon, but I promise you it is well worth it.

Soothing!, October 8, 2011

After 30 hours of labor and 3rd degree tears I was a mess down there! Used this instead of just war, water and it was very soothing and I noticed a difference right away between this and just water. Definitely recommend!
