Colored Soy Candles |
If the color of your soy candle is the most important feature for you, we can give you the color you want. The most effective way to match your candles to the décor of your event or space is to provide us with a color sample. Please note in your order details that you will be submitting a swatch of fabric or paper by mail and we will contact you with mailing information. We cannot guarantee a color match, however, if you send a digital image. The color that appears is affected by your monitor settings and video card, and printers don't always print in the same shade that appears on a monitor.
Colors may vary in different types of candles and from different batches.
Luminessent Candles products are handmade in small batches AFTER receiving your order, unlike many major candle suppliers who offer a limited number of color and scent combinations using machines and pressed wax to make thousands of pillars at one time.
Each Luminessent Candles product requires a different wax formulation (tea lights, votives, pillars, melts and container candles), and each formulation combines differently with colors. For example, one drop of purple dye in 8 ounces of container wax looks much paler in pillar wax.
Luminessent Candles products are produced using three different types of dye: liquid, solid, and soy dye chips. Because we offer such a wide variety of scents and colors, we do not maintain a stock of ready-made candles. Each order is handmade in small batches, which means if you order a large quantity of candles in the same color, there may be some variance in the shade from batch to batch.
Essential oils vary in color from clear to yellow to orange to brown. The tint of the essential oil will completely affect the dyed color of the candle (cinnamon is a major culprit). It is for this reason that some scented candles cannot be made in certain lighter shades.
