best candle I ever bought, October 28, 2009

Archipelago Ebony Wood candle is the best smelling "wood" type candle I have ever come across. If you like the smell of a fireplace or the wonderful chiminea woods, you will love this candle. Archipelago candles are on the pricey side, but they really do burn longer than candles of comparable size, and the scent throw is unmatched. These candles smell just as fresh and strong at the bottom inch as they do at the top inch. Some candle companies do what is called "topping" which is putting the stronger scented wax at the top inch. You can count on Archipelago candles to be consistent all the way down to the bottom. You can make them last even longer using an electric candle warmer instead of lighting the wick.

Archipelago Botanical Soy Candles are the only candles I have tried (and I have tried many) that don't give me a headache after they have been burning for awhile. These candles burn clean and smell wonderful!

These candles smell wonderful, burn clean and long. I burn it everyday and it fills my home with a wonderful fragrance. It is not over powering- just light and pleasant. These candles burn very clean as long as you keep the wick trimmed. Worth the little extra money for these great quality candles.
