First let me say that I bought the retiring Pumpkin Pie fragrance here on Amazon, not the Cinnamon Bun this review is written under. The pumpkin pie's no longer available. I wanted to like these candles, "poured in the USA" (which leads me to think the actual ingredients could come from China or some other foreign country.) I like the "lead-free wick" and the idea that they're made from soy, a "natural" product, plentiful in the USA. So I was ready to love these votives, and bought two boxes for a total of 36 candles. (Good price, about per votive.) I usually buy Yankee Candles Spiced Pumpkin, but thought I'd give these a try due to price point and the virtues mentioned above. However, they burn badly, leaving up to half the votive at the end of the burn. The wicks disappear into the wax pool, and can't be rescued. These votives are smaller than the standard Yankee votive, so I thought my votive holders were too big. Bought a smaller one that fits the votive perfectly. Still a bad burn. Wasteful! And the smell? Not there...which is good, because I imagine if the fragrance had been detectable, it wouldn't have been very nice, based on the overall burn quality of these votives. Maybe I've been spoiled by Yankee, and the much more expensive Thymes, but even Bath & Body Works candles are better. I won't try this brand again.

The Beanpod candles are great! I would recommend them to anyone. They burn nice, smell nice, have lead free wicks and are soy candles so don't put off toxic fumes. The Cinnamon Bun has a light vanila mix scent. I like the Cinnamon Spice for a stronger cinnamon scent.
