I received these candles yesterday and immediately removed one from the box, put it in a candleholder and lit it. The candles are very nice looking, and I can attest that they are dripless. However, they burn very quickly. Even worse, they produced enough smoke to set off my smoke detector in my bedroom after about 20 minutes of burning. The candle was on my dresser 12 feet or so away from the detector. I have placed many candles in this same location and never has the smoke detector gone off. For that matter, I have never had a candle set off a smoke detector ever in any location.

On another note, the bottom of the packaging was completely missing. I didn't realize this when I removed the candles from the delivery box and ended up dumping half the candles out when I picked it up.

We burned these candles tonight. My husband asked what they were because he was so impressed with how completely dripless they were. I would highly recommend them. They are beautiful, completely drip-free and worth every penny!!
