My daughter saw a birthday cake hat at a party store and loved it. But I wasn't going to pay for a novelty hat. So when I found this I knew she would love it just the same, and I was right. The fabric is a little thinner than I would prefer, but can't beat the price!

This would be a great birthday hat if it actually said "happy birthday". The words are on there, but the writing was embroidered inside out. It's not even salvageable to just wear it as a birthday cake hat without any writing, because the backside of the embroidery shows. What a disappointment. I'll have to buy another one somewhere else, even if I have to pay more.
