I purchased these lights because I was tired of the cheap, battery powered versions that either produce the wrong color light, not enough light, poor flicker, or just plain don't work. Overall I am pleased with the light itself. It's a nice yellow/amber and the flicker looks great. What I am disappointed with is the design of the charging tabs on bottom of the candles. On several of my lights the small metal charging tabs either don't protrude far enough through the base to make contact with the charging station or are outright stuck on the inside of the light. This I believe is a fatal flaw that needs a design revision to correct. On one of the lights I've had to cut the bottom plastic away and reposition the tabs, then tape over the exposed circuit board. Not what you want to do after spending 5+ for LED tea lights.

We bought these to use in the lobby of our hotel from 5p-2a and they have worked out great so far. We previously had the individual tea lights with batteries but we found ourselves replacing the batteries once a week. Although the batteries were relatively cheap the cost kept adding up. That's when we heard about these from another hotel. The come with the frosted holder and charging station. We now charge them about every other day and they never seem to run out of juice. No duds as of yet and we have had them for about 2 months now. In the long run we should save money with these as long as they hold charge. I will update if we have any future problems.
