I searched high and low for battery-operated Christmas window candles that flicker and don't look too junky. These were perfect for my needs. I had a set of two on my fireplace mantle and the other two in one of my windows. The brass holders are beautiful, and the flame flicker appearance is lovely at night time when looking at them inside or outside. It would be nice if they had more of a yellow color than amber and a bit brighter like the old plug-in window candles I don't see much of anymore. Batteries can get stuck inside but are pretty easy to maneuver when ready to take them out. I did not have to replace any batteries, and they are easy to turn on and off. I had these out the day before Thanksgiving all the way through January 2. I will definitely order more if I need to.

I think the candle is not bright enough. I tested by putting this on my window and wen out to see, but was disappointed.

These LED candles look very real with their flickering bulbs and 3-D drip effect. The timers are reliable, and real brass holders complete the look. I am very satisfied with these!
