Bought this for my mother for Christmas, it is now the centerpiece for our dinner table. The picture doesn't really do it justice. It doesn't look too much like it belongs in a wedding, so it definitely can be used in the home/wherever else. Although it is inexpensive, it doesn't look cheap at all.

One thing I will mention that might put people off- the "flowers" aren't actually attached to the base, they just sort of 'snap' into it. Not a problem once they're snapped in- they hold pretty well. Also, you have to buy tealights to go with it, regular candles will not fit in it and tealights don't come with it.

My friend wasn't getting married, but she'd fallen not long before and I knew she could use some cheering up. For such a minimal price, this looked like it would sit perfectly in the middle of a table. Two tea lights from a box purchased separately at amazon were easy and fragrant for the duration of a meal, held neatly in plastic cups inside the glass "flowers". A lovely little "anytime" gift not restricted to weddings or any other holiday, this is just the thing to bring a smile. The workmanship is in no way cheap, and sets an elegant table without being fussy. Cute but not too cute, the gift has a charm of its own which is, like all gifts, the ability to please whoever gets one. Personally, I'm going back to buy one for me!
