I usually don't buy books without reviews and this is an example of why. While true to the bible, the text is definitely not for toddlers--75 to 100 words per page, with places to insert stickers. I was expecting the stickers, but not the huge amount of text. Also, the word choice is not toddler appropriate. As an example, the second section is "A plot to kill Jesus" and says "But some priests hated Jesus. These priests made a plot to kill Jesus. One of Jesus' friends, a man named Judas, went to the priests. 'I will show you where to find Jesus.'" While this is true, the comprehension of a toddler (to me, ages 2 to 4) is not at this level. Simple words do not mean that a toddler will understand. Maybe this would be okay for an older child, but what older child would want a book that says "toddler" on it?
