These candles are an excellent product. I just love them. I'm an artist and I love anything colorful, but the flaming+color combo is especially fun. Any person of any age would enjoy these.

Subtle but amazing! Use the candle holders with these, since they drip faster than regular candles, and turn off the lights to see the colors, which are at their peak after a minute or two of burning. My daughter loves them! She mentioned them to her middle school science teacher, who asked her to bring some in for class. One way to identify substances is with a "flame test" -- seeing what color the flame is when they burn! So she got extra credit, based on her birthday celebration!

I'm glad I decided to use colored candles for my daughter's birthday cake this year. It definitely was a change and the kids really enjoyed seeing the different colored flames. (They thought it was "awesome").

This is one of several similar birthday candles that has "fireworks," self-lighting candles, a rotating flower, and music ('Happy Birthday'). It surprised and delighted the birthday boy and our guests. There are a few versions of this, and although the first one I used didn't light all the candles on the petals, they were easy to light by hand. I bought several to have on hand, and I expect the others will be fine. The spectacle is certainly worth it. I highly recommend this as something new for celebrations (we already have the dancing birthday cake, the 4' blow-up cake, the birthday cake hat, and various signs, tablecloths, plates, and posters). Birthdays should be special.
