Being a Febreze fan I was happy to try out this candle. I also am a candle junkie and buy mine from a major retailer. I have never bought a soy candle though, only wax. I was surprised that there really was not much of a difference. If anything the soy keeps cleaner. One thing I do with all my candles, after burning them, I cut the wick before I burn it again to prevent the black smoke and also it will burn evenly. I have to say this candle burns the most evenly I have seen. I also noticed with other candles the scent fades after a few burns but this candle the scent remains in the candle. I have been burning it a few hours for the last week and a half and it still smells `new'. It states it will burn for 30 - 40 hours but I think closer to 30 is more accurate. Another bonus was the wood cover/base. It is nice to present the candle on the black painted base to display it but I prefer to cover the candle with it. That was an added benefit. Overall I was very surprised and have nothing negative to say about the candle. As a previous tester of another Febreze Home Collection product, the Febreze Home Collections Green Tea Citrus Flameless Luminary Starter Kit, 1 Kit Box, I liked it so much I ended up buying 6 refills for the base. I will most likely be buying these candles as well. Very pleasant scent without being overwhelming, that is hard to so.

This candle has a very pleasing aroma and looks great.

Unfortunately, it is not very long lasting. The scent does not last long at all in comparison with others of this type, such as the Yankee brand in particular. The price is reasonable.

Overall, this is a pretty good value, but it just does not seem to retain its smell as long as it should.

I got the Cranberry Pear and it is way to strong for me. The smell too me is very sweet scent. My 11 year old says it semlls like watermelon candy. It does clear out the cigarette smells, but after 1 use had to give away, since the cloying sweet smell makes me queasy.

3 stars since gets rid of smells, and comes in nice heavy square glass containor and with a wooden lid that doubles as coaster when in use.

Everyone is different and this is an acquired smell. Most children will probably love this.
