These heavy, sturdy pots have the edges hand torn before they are dried in the kiln, resulting in irregularities that make each one unique. With an invigorating Lemongrass scent, this American Soybean WaxTM candle is intensely fragrant and has a 35-hour burn time. Lead-free wick and soy wax are clean burning. Pot measures 3.75"x6.0".American Soybean Wax is made from a naturally sustainable, renewable source, burns without soot or smoke which keeps the air cleaner, and contributes to the American farming community. Only essential oils are used. These candles have lead-free wicks and contain no wax or wax by-products or artificial dyes.

It would be nice if the folks packing candles for shipment would notice when one smells disgusting! This candle smelled so bad that we could not figure if it was the ceramic pot or the actual candle. It was such an awful stench that it surely should have been noticed by packers.....and so bad that none of my co-workers would take it. (and they are scavengers of the best kind).
Hopefully Amazon will check the rest of the shipment and return them if they are all bad.
The other Veria candles were nice. The ones in the jars, especially the Sandalwood Vanilla have lovely scents.
Too bad this did not! The ceramic pot was a great shape...perhaps with a new scent it might work. :-(

As other reviewers have warned, this candle smells HORRIBLE! I actually had to put it outside so the smell would not invade our home. Even when it's not lit, it has a very distinct, very unpleasant odor. It's unfortunate because it looks really cool - but, trust me, don't waste your money. You will not be able to burn this candle inside your home.

Ugh! I wish I'd read the previous review before purchasing this candle. I couldn't even open the bubble wrap, the stench was so revolting! I'm guessing it's the ceramic pot.. blech! I have since dropped another candle from the same company (in a different ceramic pot) off my wishlist, for fear of the smell. Unfortunately, I didn't open the item in time to return it, so it's out to the trash bins with this waste of money! Because, like the buyer before me, no one in my office or family would take this foul object!
