I use hot glue to make the flame, but need to get a mould to make a more realistic flame. However once this is placed inside a lamp it looks quite effective. I make these-up and a small circuit, 2 x AA battery box with switch and ready to go will cost you £3.25 excluding the batteries and lantern. Lantern costs an extra 5.99, otherwise they are available from most garden shops. Postage is about £1.65 for the candle part and £2.50 if the lantern is bought.
