However, we were accosted by a carpet tout who continued to follow us even though we were not being exactly friendly. When we wouldn't follow him to his father's carpet shop we were promptly told to "F___ off". I told him he was charming and we strolled off. We had lunch at CENNET which was an Anatolian themed café. Waiters wore fez hats, there was a traditional band and women cooked pancakes in front of you. It was slightly cheesy but we liked being able to stretch out on the cushions while we sipped our apple tea and ate our spinach flatbread pancake. Then we wandered over to DOY DOY which was a restaurant recommended by the Lonely Planet. We had lentil soup and a Turkish pizza. It was a popular little place but the roof terrace was closed!
